Xin Ciao! My name is Maris Dianne. You can call me Maris! I have been teaching English in both online and face-to-face classes for more than six years now and I will be your loyal and dedicated partner in learning and mastering the English language. But first, let me tell a little about my academic background. I finished a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of the Philippines-Diliman, the top 1 university in the Philippines. Before I became an Internationally Certified English Teacher, I have worked for several prestigious multinational and local companies like IBM and Multimedia Marketing Exponents. I love reading books and any other literature for that matter. I am very health conscious so I try my best to eat healthy and stay fit. I also love to bake and travel to different places. I have future plans to study abroad and live in an English speaking country.

I started my career with online teaching when I joined a big Chinese ESL company . I taught Chinese students of all levels. After that, I also experienced teaching Japanese, Korean, and Turkish students before I flew to Vietnam and train in an American TESOL school to get my International TESOL Certification. After I became an Internationally Certified English Teacher I was offered and taught English in a language Center in Quang Nam provicne and in one of the biggest universities in Ho Cho Minh City – FPT University.

My world changed when I got to meet and interact with actual students. This was the time I discovered my passion for teaching English and helping others fulfill their academic, personal and professional needs. This was also the time I learned how to build connections with my students by learning about their cultures and sharing with them my own culture as well. I know it can be challenging to learn English and most students feel nervous on their trial classes. Cheer up! You have nothing to worry about. It is my job to alwyas be here for you – to help you and to guide you. Together we will conquer all your fears and difficulties. I know you can do it!
